Thankfully, Buffalo Trace is on hand to help. This Father’s Day, the flagship bourbon from the world’s most awarded distillery is giving you the chance to win an unforgettable bundle to gift to your father. The brand wants to reward our steadfast, stalwart father figures — and is offering discerning drinkers a chance to win a home bar stocked with a suite of Buffalo Trace’s whiskies, as well as a Traeger grill and a Lidgate’s barbecue kit. It’s the ultimate barbecue and bourbon experience — and a sufficiently strong present.
And Buffalo Trace knows a little something about strength. The Distillery has been producing bourbon for over two hundred years, overcoming Prohibition, the Great Depression, numerous floods and two World Wars and continuing to create quality whiskey. Rich of taste and strong of character, the whiskeymaker’s dedication to its craft has remained unrefuted and undiluted for centuries.
Ancient buffalo carved paths through the wilderness that led American pioneers and explorers to new frontiers. One such trail led to the banks of the Kentucky River where Buffalo Trace Distillery has been making bourbon whiskey the same way for more than 200 years. In tribute to the mighty buffalo and the rugged, independent spirit of the pioneers who followed them, Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey was born. And this latest competition offers both you and your father the chance to experience every delectable note and rich flavour the oldest continuously operating Distillery in the US has to offer.

This Father’s Day, we wanted to bring back the opportunity to provide people with a bar to enjoy a drink on us, in the comfort of their own home. Celebrating the people around you is vital, and we want people to give thanks to the fathers (and mothers) who have always stood strong.”
This is the perfect prize for summer. The lucky winner will not only enjoy the flagship Bourbon whiskey from Buffalo Trace — crafted from corn, rye, and malted barley and aged in new oak barrels in centuries old warehouses — but also a carefully curated, sweet suite of wider whiskeys.
There’s the Eagle Rare, a 10-year-old straight Bourbon with a deep colour and full body. There’s the brand’s celebrated Sazerac Rye; a New Orleans original overflowing with aromas of clove, vanilla, anise and pepper. There’s even the chance to whip up a Buffalo Trace glaze for your barbecue meats — thanks to an inspired recipe provided by Jonny Farrell.
But the prize doesn’t begin and end with Bourbon. As well as some barnstorming bottles, Buffalo Trace has also partnered with Farrell, Traeger Grills and Lidgate’s Family Butchers to make this Father’s Day bundle a little more meaty.
There are 4 Traeger grills up for grabs — Timberline 850. And, to put it to good use, a barbecue kit from Lidgate’s — the staunch Holland Park butcher shop that has been standing strong for five generations (that’s almost as long as Buffalo Trace). Add the expertise of experimental chef and butchery specialist Jonny Farrell, who has whipped up a selection of inspired recipes, and you’ve got the finest Father’s Day present to ever hit the grill.
