We’ve been big fans of Linde Werdelin’s Oktopus line of watches for a while now. We’ve looked at the MoonLite and the BluMoon, but this is their finest iteration yet. The Oktopus Moon Carbon is not only the best looking from that family though, it’s also arguably the best watch the Swiss brand have ever produced.
The Moon Carbon takes on the same basic design elements from its sibling watches, yet it’s been updated with state-of-the-art materials and breakthrough technology, making it more desirable than ever.

The case of the watch is really quite something. Made from sculpted multi-layered carbon and adorned with an innovative application of 3DTP technology, it is unique in its beauty. Of course, it is an extremely lightweight piece, as has now become the custom at Linde Werdelin, and with its 18K rose gold detailing in the crown, hands and hour markers it takes on a dressier approach than previous watches.

The industrial elements remain though, with twelve screws securing the case in place as well as connecting it directly to the bespoke natural rubber strap, this time finished in brown. The LW calibre movement of course remains also, as does the in-house photorealistic moon phase complication, which has come to define the Oktopus family.

Water resistant to 300m, the Linde Werdelin Oktopus Moon Carbon costs CHF19,000. For more information, click here.
