Tod’s is coming in red hot
The Italian house introduces the Red Dot sneaker, blending artisanal heritage with a modern take on everyday luxury.

The newly-launched Red Dot sneaker pays homage Tod’s past. Tod’s has a history of creating excellent footwear. The Italian brand, under the leadership of its founder Filippo Della Valle, kicked off its shoe-making legacy in an artisanal shoemaking workshop in the 1920s, which saw the meticulous creation of leather shoes. Fast-forward 100 years and Tod’s is known for footwear such as the world famous Tod’s Gommino driving shoe.
Now it has unveiled the Red Dot, a new trainer design that redefines the codes of contemporary luxury. Blending the best of that Italian artisanal tradition that made Tod’s a global name in the 20th century with cutting-edge technological research, the Red Dot is the next big thing in Italian footwear.
Inspired in part by the aforementioned Gommino, the Red Dot trainer showcases a distinctive red dot pebble detail on the heel that gives it its name.
Meanwhile, the Tod’s logo stamped on the tongue is a signifier of the brand’s legacy.
