Menswear went off at TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival)

While you might be more versed in what goes down at Venice Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival, you also ought to be paying attention to Toronto Film Festival. Or TIFF, as most people will see it referred to on Instagram, X, TikTok and websites like these. Much like the other big film festivals - and don't think it isn't as big as those aforementioned events - TIFF brings out the biggest names in the film biz for the premieres of some of the films that are set to make the biggest waves during the looming awards season.

This year has seen Daniel Craig walk the red carpet for the screening of the next Knives Out film, Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, alongside Irish actor Daryl McCormack. Chris Evans set the rumour mill in motion as he flaunted his jacked physique, while Paul Mescal served A star menswear on the red carpet at the Hamnet premiere.

Dressed in Hermès, Irish actor McCormack made a case for matching your eyes to your trousers.

By now, we've accepted that Craig isn't about dressing like Bond anymore.

Chris Evans has been putting in the work this summer and teased what could be an MCU return in a tight tee from John Smedley.

While in Venice he wore 007 white tie, in Toronto Callum Turner turned heads in shades of Louis Vuitton blue.

This game isn't new to Oscar Isaac, and the tie wasn't necessary for his three-piece suit.

Oh how British actor Nicholas Pinnock just nailed that whole throwback to a nostalgic era thing in this Seventies-vibing look.

Wearing a more relaxed outfit than his other TIFF looks (autumnal brown suiting), Matthew McConaughey opted for an open shirt and a pair of trousers from Brit designer Daniel Simmons.
