The Chorizo Sandwich

This is a great idea for a quick snack or a late breakfast when the head isn’t feeling too fresh. It takes seconds to make and tastes delicious. The Journal takes you through a step by step guide to sandwich heaven.

The Ingredients, Chorizo Sausage, Garlic Mayonnaise, Wild Rocket, Piquilo Peppers, English Muffin

The Kitchen Essentials, Salt & Pepper, Griddle Pan, Toaster

1. Cut the sausage in half to make a butterfly sausage and lay on a pre-heated Griddle Pan. Cook on a medium heat.

2. Cut the English muffin in half and toast when the sausage is cooked through. Take the Sausage of the heat and allow it rest.

3. Place a good dollop of garlic mayonnaise on the base of the toasted muffin, next put a small handful of rocket and a Piquilo Pepper on top.

4. Lastly place the Chorizo sausage on and then place the toasted English Muffin on top and enjoy.

Tip: this is great idea for summer barbeques too.
