TECH – FLYING HIGH WITH THE PHANTOM 2 VISION

, The Phantom 2 Vision is part of the unmanned aerial systems innovators DJI’s Phantom range and provides hobbyists and professional videographers alike the ability to capture full HD video and stills from a distance of up to 300m. Bird’s eye view is being jostled for position by that of cutting-edge technology – and very successfully, I might add.

The lightweight aircraft is the only quadcopter to offer an intelligent GPS-based autopilot system, an integrated 14MP HD camera and an iOS and Android app for full camera control. It also comes with a remote control unit containing pre-programmed autopilot parameters, allowing pilots to switch between different flight modes to achieve particular flight experiences.

When it comes to scope within photography, DJI are constantly knocking on the door of what should and shouldn’t be physically possible; the Phantom 2 now opening a whole new dimension into aerial vision.
