After all, Paris is the city of love and jetting out this weekend ought to be on everyone’s mind. Whether you’ll be pouring yourself over the Louvre Museum or wandering the Champs-Élysées – we’ve put together a special weekend want list for a weekend in the city of lights.

With Paris’s weather being not too dissimilar to that of London’s, it seems logical to dress accordingly. The sleek look of the trench coat instantly springs to mind and although your classic trench coat will adequately fit the bill – something with a more contemporary twist will be a little more fun. Needless to say Merino is your go to wool this season. It’s soft, finely crimped and, most essentially, warm. The line is worked around tailored jackets and, in this case, retro knitwear. An ideal item for a chilly weekend in Paris.
