Power – Maserati Ghibli 2013

This is the latest offering from Maserati, and although there are no drastic changes in looks, under the bonnet it’s a different story. This is the first ever Maserati to be diesel engine powered, with a V6 turbo diesel being offered alongside the 3.0 litre bi-turbo engine. It will have an eight-speed automatic transmission and be either rear wheel drive or feature the company’s new Q4 all-wheel drive.

With the diesel model expected to start at around the 50k mark, this has been seen as a clever move by Maserati with the hope of taking some of the German saloon market. maserati.co.uk
