The Moss name goes back to 1851, when Moses Moss opened two stores in Covent Garden. Today, Moss is seen as a high street mainstay and the menswear destination for real guys who don't stray too far into the business of runway fashion, but want to look their best.
Moss's Autumn/Winter 2025 collection exemplifies this and will ready you for seasonal change. A collection shaped by the rhythm of real life, as described by the brand, the AW25 range is designed for everything from quiet moments to bigger occasions, and always in good company.
The collection caters to every walk of life, and every event, from dinners to dance floors and winter weddings, or wherever a stylish entrance may be needed. “Men today don’t just want to look good - they want to feel confident in what they wear,” says Brian Brick, CEO of Moss. “That means clothes that fit well, feel great, and suit their day, wherever that takes them. Our role is to take the stress out of getting dressed - combining style with service that makes the whole experience effortless.”
Soft constructions in knitwear, tailoring and trousers are intentionally less stiff than might be expected of winterwear, making for a more comfortable line-up of garments. It's a collection of separates, bar the suit sets, which are intended to be mismatched and paired up. "You'll find plenty of layering opportunities," says Brick.
Moleskin and cord return in jackets and overshirts, while chunky knits and alpaca-rich cardigans are destined for their places above T-shirts and underneath coats. On the subject of coats, the Epsom is a new classic: an overcoat design with a touch of cashmere running through its construction, making it effortlessly wearable, functional and soft-to-touch. It's the ultimate piece, designed for days out and weekends well spent.
"It’s really about lighter layers and everyday wearability, while still having fun with accessories like ties and pocket squares, even across more relaxed looks," says Gabriella Brick, Head of Design. "I wanted the collection to feel timeless, but with pops of colour woven through. We’ve introduced looser fits, drapier fabrics, and softer constructions to give everything an easy, modern feel. It’s a big evolution. We’re constantly challenging perceptions of what Moss is, taking what people know about us and pushing it forward. Tailoring will always be our strength, but we’ve taken that expertise and applied it across our entire wardrobe, from smart separates to quality casualwear."
Embedded into the Autumn/Winter 2025 collection are pieces that come in autumnal, earthy hues of sand, green and blue. Italian suits - by way of the E. Thomas and Barberis mills - are season standouts, with two-pieces cut from a luxurious cashmere and wool blend. Meanwhile, a double-breasted blazer, made in collaboration with Piacenza, is cut from the historic Italian mill’s finest wool.
Earlier this year, Moss opened its new flagship on Oxford Street - a space that reflects the brand’s evolution as much as its collection does. Soon, that experience will extend east, with their Broadgate store opening near Liverpool Street.
Designed to feel more like a style destination than a shop, these spaces bring Moss’ tailoring know-how and contemporary casualwear together under one roof. Stop by for a custom-made fitting, to refine your everyday wardrobe, or just drop in for a conversation with one of the team.
