Montblanc are renowned for their iconic pens, fine watches and luxurious leather goods. They are one of the premier makers of luxury men’s accessories and now they’ve released a new line, pushing the boundaries of innovation whilst staying true to their heritage.
The Extreme collection was launched in Florence in front of a star studded audience that included Montblanc’s global brand ambassador, Hugh Jackman, who sported an unusual beard/hair combination that he’s donning for the role of pirate Blackbeard in his upcoming film, Pan. Jackman and the rest of the VIP guests were treated to a swanky dinner in the the extraordinary Palazzo Vecchio in the heart of Florence. The atmosphere was heightened by the unique skills of a tuxedo-clad horse rider, as well as large screens depicting the inspirations behind the new collection.
Designed with the urban traveller in mind, the Extreme collection is made up of accessories engineered to withstand the rigours of daily life. High-performance leather is utilised throughout, giving users water, heat and scratch resistance. Notable items in the Montblanc Extreme collection include a briefcase, messenger bag, rucksack, passport and business card holders as well as iPad, tablet and mobile device covers. It will be available from Montblanc boutiques worldwide from September 2014. For more information, click here.
