

Man Snack – Bombay Chicken Wings

This is the ultimate man snack and what’s more it is one of the simplest things to make. In just two steps you will have succulent and juicy chicken wings, that are full of flavour. Serves 6-8 as an appetiser.

Ingredients
Chicken Wings: 15-20 Chicken Wings, 1 teaspoon curry powder, 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric, 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, 2 tablespoons finely sliced green onion, 2 cloves garlic (crushed), a sprinkle of black pepper, sprigs of coriander for garnish.
Yogurt Chutney Dipping Sauce: 120ml natural yogurt, 1 tablespoon chopped coriander, 1 tablespoon finely sliced spring onion, 1/4 teaspoon hot sauce a pinch of sea salt.
The Method
Step 1 – The Dipping Sauce
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl; cover and refrigerate until needed.
Step 2 – The Chicken Wings, In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients (excluding the chicken wings and coriander) to make the marinade. Add the chicken wings and make sure each one is well coated in the marinade. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Pre heat the oven to 190 degrees celsius or gas mark 5 and put the chicken wings in a baking dish. Cook for 25 minutes until golden brown. Serve with the dipping sauce and garnish with the coriander sprigs.
