Lanieri is taking on London and you're invited

The Italian menswear label will be hosting a Trunk show in London this October

Words: Zak Maoui

Operating from Biella, Italy, a region rich in textile traditions, Lanieri is all about maintaining its "Made In Italy" label. Simone Maggi and Riccardo Schiavotto, who founded the company in 2012, wanted to adhere to traditional Italian tailoring methods, all while modernising the concept of traditional made-to-measure services.

Maintaining a zero-stock policy - everything is made-to-order, so the brand can be as sustainable as possible - Lanieri offers a full online custom service. Using the 3D configurator that allows you to view the fabrics and customisation options, you can input self-taken measurements into the system, choose the type of Italian cloth you want, decide on your particular final touches and wait for your suit to arrive in four weeks. It also offers an in-store service at its ateliers across Italy.

Although Lanieri started out as an internet-based brand, the business is now expanding. Since its inception, Lanieri has won over fans all over the world, and this October the brand is going on a mini tour to give them an up close and personal look at what it offers. The Lanieri Trunk Show will be coming to London from October 15 to 18 and will take place at the Richard Gelding boutique, 27 N Audley Street.

The Trunk show will allow you to have an in-person consultation with a Style Advisor, who will offer you an authentic Made-to-Measure experience. You will have a chance to see and feel a wide selection of fine Italian fabrics and create custom-made suits, shirts, blazers, trousers, and much more, just as if you were in one of Lanieri's ateliers.

The Trunk show is also an opportunity to check out Lanieri's Autumn/Winter 2025 collection. The collection embodies Lanieri's aesthetic - soft cashmere, flannel, velvet, and blends of wool and alpaca arrive in an autumnal palette consisting of purple, burgundy, green, brown, and other earthy tones. Knitwear is key, and denim sits alongside suiting with ease.
