Why be a Fishing Purist when you can join ‘The Tarpon Club’

There are many of us who consider salmon fishing to be the sport of kings. Furthermore the purists among us might never feel the need to stray beyond the UK shores to catch our mighty prey. This is a mistake such purism is too constraining. Many more enlightened have been tempted to enjoy fishing in Iceland, Russia, Scandinavia etc. but how many of you have branched out into ‘power’ fishing and so to experience the raw thrill of battling a 100 plus pound tarpon…?

Imagine this… take your fishing group to:

1. Florida keys… Sunshine… Lots of it!

2. Relaxing on luxury beaches when not fishing, with cocktail in hand.

3. Moonlight fishing in shorts and t-shirts.

4. Three or four of ones friends all fishing from the same boat with all the banter!

5. Spotting massive Tarpon-Fish rolling in the moonlight

6. Take position under the road bridges (where the Tarpon tend to congregate) and wait…

7. Watch the tide change

8. THE FISH BITES!!!

9. Fish on….

10. A proper battle commences… Man vs. beast… rod bent double… arms exhausted… fish leaping… Reel in… Pump… Reel in… PUMP!

12. 20 – 45 minutes later… Winning at last…. arms leaden… Grab a picture with your huge fish.

13. Sit back exhausted, arms shaking, heart racing… drinking in the experience

This is all about concentrated action in a magical location exuding atmosphere and providing an experience you’ll never forget.

Don’t just be a purist… Join the tarpon club
