Ghurka USA launch G200 collection

Esteemed American luggage brand, Ghurka have officially landed in the UK after a double celebration at Fortnum & Mason. Simultaneously launching their new G200 collection and marking their 40th anniversary, the night was enjoyed by some of Britain’s finest talents as well as top-tier journalists from across the land.

Taking place across F&M’s 3rd floor, with Ghurka’s leather range on full display, the event primarily took place to launch the new G200 collection. Named to mark 200 years since Gurhka forces began serving the Crown, the collection spans holdalls, smaller bags as well as an over-sized trunk. Guests on the evening included Joanna Lumley, Field Marshall Sir John Chapple, Kenton Cool, Levison Wood, Ben Starr and Stefan Booth. Ghurka CEO John Reuter flew in from New York along with Pam Bristow, Executive Vice President of Marketing and Brand Strategy, too.

Ghurka USA was founded in 1975, and for the last 40 years they’ve produced outstanding quality leather goods, primarily for the American market. After their G200 event at Fortnum & Masons however, they’re going to be a force to be reckoned with on our shores.
