The Gentleman’s Journal Polo Match at CLA Game Fair

On 19th July, The Gentleman’s Journal hosted a polo match in the grounds of Blenheim Palace in association with the CLA Game Fair. Guests enjoyed a beautiful game feast after sampling both Nyetimber sparkling wine and Chase vodka and gin, at the preceding evening drinks reception. Despite the wet weather, in typical British fashion all were in high spirits and The Gentleman’s Journal’s crack polo team, made up of George Meade, Freddie Meade, Lord Sutherland and Archie Rutland, galloped to a well-deserved victory, rewarded with prizes including Hunter wellington boots and Gieves and Hawkes shirts.
