Film – Rush, the First Trailer

The first trailer of Rush, Ron Howard’s highly anticipated film has been released. It showcases the rivalry between two Formula 1 greats, James Hunt and Niki Lauda.

For those F1 fans this film is a must see and it centres around the dramatic events of the 1976 F1 season. It seems to be not only an action packed thriller, but a film which focuses on the emotional roller coaster that being a F1 driver meant in the days before relative safety.

Chris Hemsworth with an immaculate British accent, plays Hunt, the up-and-coming British racer who goes head-to-head with Niki Lauda in pursuit of the World Championship. However, for those of you who know, this was no normal F1 season and the storyline focuses on Lauda’s near-fatal crash and the events afterwards.

Daniel Bruhl who plays Lauda looks to be cast superbly and Rush has all the makings of a high adrenaline blockbuster.
