Blancpain - Villeret Quantième Complet Phases de Lune

There is both prestige and challenge that comes with being the world’s oldest existing watchmaker, and it’s a feeling that Blancpain – founded in 1735 – knows all too well. Consistent commitment to craft and frequently bringing new models to market for almost three centuries is no mean feat, yet one that the Swiss brand has achieved time and time again. Take one of its latest additions to the Villeret collection for example; The Villeret Quantième Complet Phases de Lune offers a redesigned 40mm case, larger crown and a slimmer bezel (for modern day wear) yet also features a playful and expressive satin-finished moon phase, showcasing Blancpain’s unique charm and letting enthusiasts know that the brand has no plans to slow down.

£299Glen Scotia - Icons of Campbeltown Release No.3

The third release in the brand’s five-part annual series celebrating the Victorian capital of whisky’s rich heritage and folklore, Icons of Campbeltown Release No.3 from Glen Scotia takes its inspiration from the mythical creature carved into the town’s 14th-century market cross. The Wulver (depicted as a wolf’s head with a man’s body) is a Campbeltown symbol of generosity in spirit and mirrors Glen Scotia’s own brand ethos which has been captured in this Tawny Port Cask Finish 12-year-old single malt, with forest fruits and caramel on the nose, dried fig and orange peel on the palate, and a dark cocoa and gentle vanilla finish.
