, Specialist bike designers Bandit9 have unveiled their latest work. The passionate Beijing based motorcycle company pride themselves on their innovation and individualism. Their focus is in creating a stylish and iconic build that resonates with temporary taste as well as modern performance standards. Likening their bikes to ‘sculptures’ and appreciating the finished outcome as art, rather than mere machine, makes this group of bandit designers like no other, and it comes across in the Bandit9 ‘Hephaestus’.
The ruggedly handsome Bandit9 Hephaestus turns heads with its raw metal looks and slim yet muscular lines. The custom design is based on the Honda Bros 400, with a customised stainless steel tank, cowl and fender. Along with original Bandit9 steel gas cap, hand-stitched leather seat, side covers, exhaust, muffler and turn signals. Not to mention upgraded front and rear disc brakes and suspension. The wheels and alloy rims are just standard though, phew…
Hephaestus will cost you around £9,000, which is modest if you value its magnetic head turning power and unique appearance. We always say that the beauty is in the detail but when you have artists in charge of design, it’s taken to obsessive levels. You can’t say you’re not tempted. bandit9.com
