Fruit de l’imagination de Ruben Tomella, qui évolue dans le secteur depuis 2004, Gagà Laboratorio est une marque innovante qui aime faire les choses un peu différemment. Épaulé par Mo Coppoletta, directeur artistique de Gagà Laboratorio et connaisseur en horlogerie à l’origine de montres telles que la série spéciale Bulgari Octo Finissimo ornée de motifs inspirés du tatouage asiatique, Tomella souhaitait créer une nouvelle marque horlogère dotée d’une identité stylistique forte.

The first model of Gagà Laboratorio was the Labormatic, presented earlier this year. The Labormatic comes out in two different versions: the Cinquanta and the Bauhaus. The latter is characterised by clean geometric lines and minimalist styling, while the former is a watch that is unrivalled in visuals and design.

Gagà Laboratorio Labormatic Cinquanta

The Labormatic Cinquanta was inspired by the classic Italian Dolce Vita of the Fifties, which was defined by a new prosperity in the nation. Post-war, people had money to spend and an economic boom meant better clothing, richer lifestyles and happier souls. The watch, in colour, number and design, reflects this.

Le modèle Labormatic Cinquanta se présente dans un boîtier complexe en acier inoxydable composé de plusieurs éléments, d’un diamètre de 42 mm, doté d’un verre saphir bombé à l’avant comme à l’arrière.

C’est le cadran qui confère à cette montre toute sa singularité, avec une architecture conçue dans les moindres détails. Il associe un affichage numérique des heures à un affichage analogique des minutes, complétés par un disque central pour les secondes : en somme, il ne ressemble en rien à celui d’une montre classique. Son design parfaitement circulaire distingue Gagà Laboratorio comme une marque horlogère à suivre. La montre est animée par un mouvement automatique de la prestigieuse Manufacture La Joux-Perret et montée sur un élégant bracelet en cuir confectionné à la main.

For the launch of the Labormatic Cinquanta Mo Coppoletta, as a self-professed admirer of the traditional Italian Dolce Vita, partnered with singer Alessandro Ristori who is a national ambassador of Italy, and has referenced the retro fifties vibe on stage for the best part of the past four decades. Ristori will stand as an ambassador for the watch.
