The Diary: Luca Faloni x Gentleman’s Journal Welcome Dinner

To kick-off a weekend of stylish celebrations in Cannes, we co-hosted a special dinner with Luca Faloni

On the first Friday of the Gentleman’s Journal’s Cannes weekend, we welcomed guests to the Hotel Belles Rives, the setting for F. Scott Fitzgerald’s masterpiece, ‘Tender is the Night’, for a spectacular dinner overlooking the Mediterranean sea.

We co-hosted the dinner with our long-term friend Luca Faloni. Amazingly, the unusually rainy 24 hours decided to let up, and the sun even managed to show itself during the evening, which everyone embraced.

Guests at the dinner included Jonah Heaur-King, Eric Underwood, Sam Way, Ben Dauhaus and Mathias Le Fèvre, along with Ciinderella Balthazar, and Ross and Jaks Anderson.

The delicious menu comprised of Gamberoni Carpaccio to start, sea bream filet, zucchinis, mashed potatoes with truffle for main, and pavlova with red fruit for dessert. It’s safe to say, everyone greatly enjoyed the meal.

After dinner it was Espresso Martini’s and Negroni’s all round to get the party going well into the night…
