You can’t change the way other people feel about you or what they think of you, so there’s no point striving to be something that you’re not. Accept who you are and embrace it.

It’s so much easier to hold onto the negative comments than it is the positives and the compliments, so if you’re feeling insecure or uncomfortable simply remember a time that you achieved something great.

Fear is a perfectly normal feeling, the sooner you accept this, the sooner you can get over it. Don’t see it as a set back and instead see it as something to overcome.

Striving to be perfect is ridiculous and pointless in equal measure, allow yourself to make mistakes, allow yourself to slip up – you are only human. If you let yourself make mistakes and accept that you probably will, you’ll increase your confidence ten-fold.
