The directing duo Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller are reuniting to bring life to more of Miller’s graphic novels. Intertwining two of his classic stories, they are bringing their unmistakable style to the screen one again, with the film Sin City: A Dame To Kill For.
Starring the likes of Mickey Rourke, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Jessica Alba and Eva Green, the second Sin City is promising to be as adventurous and gripping as the first. Rodriguez and Miller push the boundaries of traditional film-making, creating comic-like visuals that are truly incredible. Their stylistic devices are unique, and are perfectly fitting for the dark stories of violence and corruption that Miller is acclaimed for. The film is an adaptation of two of these stories, with additional tales woven in to add complexity and intrigue. Set in the miserable Basin City, the film sees the interactions of the town’s most notorious inhabitants. Sin City: A Dame To Kill For will be in cinemas in late August, and is one that you won’t want to miss.
