YACHT OF THE WEEK – THE SHERAKHAN

First things first, stop what you are doing and flick through the photo reel.

You love it? Of course you do.

Let me fill you in on the rest. At 70m, Sherakhan is as mighty as she is elegant. Despite being built only a decade ago, her style represents a more classical model, and her luxurious interior, décor and layout create an intoxicating combination, oozing grandeur and comfort. And as one of few yachts legally able to cruise with 26 guests on board, the entertainment prospects are immense.

She features a dining room to seat 22, with a 7m atrium bathed in natural light, a grand piano in the salon – complete with an open fire – and a glass-bottomed jacuzzi large enough for 18 people. And with a crew of 19, attention to detail and top drawer hospitality is an absolute given – whether you’re soaking in the summer on the Mediterranean or chasing the sun during the winter months on the Caribbean flats.

“Money can’t buy you happiness, but it can buy you a yacht big enough to pull up right alongside it.” David Lee Roth makes a very valid point, and Sherakhan may just be the one.

Now excuse me if you will, the photo reel is beckoning again.

Price: €29 million
