First ever private jet interior concept store opened by Boutsen Design

As impressive as it may be to own your own private jet, the devil is always in the detail, and for interior decorating company Boutsen Design, that’s interiors. Having founded the aircraft sales and acquisitions company Boutsen Aviation with husband and former Formula One driver, Thierry Boutsen, in 1997, Daniela Boutsen saw a gap in the market for an all-encompassing interior design service. And so, in 2011 Boutsen Design opened the doors to its showroom in the heart of Monaco.

Four years on and after months of careful planning, Boutsen Design is now launching the first ever ‘one-stop shop’ for on-board luxury at the General Aviation Terminal, Nice Côte d’Azur Airport. Of course, only the finest furnishings, comforts and ‘Art de la Table’ are on offer, ranging from cashmere blankets to collections by Baccarat, Bottega Veneta, and Loro Piana Interiors, to name a few.

There is a particular focus on fine dining with linens, crockery and the finest crystal and glassware that define elegance, while still being contemporary and functional. There is even a table top selection from The Aston Martin Collection, which seems to be crafted with the same precision as their cars to include an intricate vector pot and matching spoon made from sterling silver and 24 carat gold, taking seasoning your food to the next level.

Everything is handpicked to work with the personal tastes of the client and the space itself, which also extends to homes and yachts. The results are therefore as special and unique as the jets themselves. Keeping it in the Formula One family, the ‘bijou’ store itself has been designed in collaboration with Vivian Rosberg, wife of Nico and founder of interior design site Maison V Interiors. With a team so firmly set within the realms of high-end style, the concept store is sure to tap into a market that seems to be going from strength to strength.
