Cartier’s Style et Luxe at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed

The Cartier Style et Luxe, the world’s finest Concours d’Elegance, will arrive at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this Sunday, the 26th of June. Established in 1995, Cartier’s involvement at the Festival of Speed is always one of the most anticipated partnerships, and has since become one of the most internationally respected Concours, not to mention a must-see attraction at Goodwood.

“The Cartier Style et Luxe Concours d’Elégance is a celebration of fine automotive design where the extremely diverse vehicles presented always manage to create amazement. The concours now in its 21st edition echoes Cartier’s values of innovation and creative design.” Observes Laurent Feniou, Managing Director of Cartier UK.

The Festival of Speed will today open its doors to 200,000 annual spectators, and discerning motoring enthusiasts will likely make a beeline for the elegant and always vibrant Cartier Style et Luxe. This year will see the distinctive and sought-after cars competing for seven categories as well as the coveted Overall Winner award. Past winners have included the 1969 Aston Martin DB6 Volante which the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge drove away in after their wedding in April 2011 and the futuristic 1953 Alfa Romeo BAT 5 Bertone and Sir Jackie King and Sir Sterling moss have been spotted at the Style et Luxe in the past.
