Following a hugely successful run this Summer, the Gin and Tonic experts are once again distilling their expertise to create an education in flavour that caters to all tastes. ‘Students’ will also get an exclusive taste of the premium mixer brand’s limited edition festive mixer; the Clementine & Cinnamon Tonic.
The newest addition to Fever-Tree’s highly acclaimed range, will give the classes an extra festive spin inspired by the traditional aromas and tastes of Christmas. The mixer uses clementines from South Africa and fragrant cinnamon from Sri Lanka. As an added Christmas gift, Gin School attendees will also be able to take home their own hand-crafted bottle of gin.
The Fever-Tree Gin School is an immersive tasting, crafting and distilling experience unlike any other. The focus of the class is less on taking notes and more about tasting notes, as guests channel their inner gin distiller to create a liquid guided by their preference of tonic. After all, ‘If 3/4 of your gin and tonic is tonic, make sure you use the best’.
The hour-long evening gets underway with a free welcome Gin & Fever-Tree cocktail and a brief gin-troduction to the brand and its range of mixers. Guests will then discover all there is to know about the wonderful world of gin and the different botanicals that give each one its own unique taste and character. Tasting then turns to choosing, as guests are invited to blend a selection of gins suited to their palate, to create their own 500ml bottle of gin.
This personalised gin signifies the student’s graduation and as grade-A students, they will receive a number of free goodies to take away with them. Proving highly popular during the summer, the Fever-Tree Gin School is the ideal present for friends, family and colleagues in the lead up to Christmas.
The Fever-Tree Gin School will begin from 13th November and continue for six weeks, operating on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday evenings.
Now in its twelfth year, Fever-Tree has pioneered the premium mixer category. In 2005 founders Charles Rolls and Tim Warrillow identified a need for good quality mixers to accompany the fast growing array of premium spirits available on the market. The pair travelled from the Congo to the Ivory Coast in pursuit of the highest quality ingredients for the range of mixers. Since its launch, Fever-Tree has collected a vast number of awards, including the Queen’s Award for Enterprise and named the Best Selling & Top Trending Tonic Water for three consecutive years by the World’s 50 Best Bars.
