Behind the Brand: Stockinger

Founded in 1978 by Dominik Von Ribbentrop, German based company Stockinger has been manufacturing luxurious, high-end safes for more than 30 years.

Renowned for their sleek combination of state-of–the-art technology and elegant design, a Stockinger safe not only provides optimum security but is a work of art in itself.

As beautifully crafted as the watches and jewellery within it, a Stockinger safe is extremely tasteful in design and can exist as an integral part of even the most sophisticated and stylish of interiors. Stockinger work closely with their clients to ensure that each safe is built and designed to the owner’s precise specifications.

Over half of Stockinger’s clients collect vintage watches, so the safes must therefore be installed with the most high tech watch winders available. Stockinger uses Beluwo winders, which can be custom programmed to each individual watch; each winder has its own motor and can also be controlled remotely.

Stockinger uses an 18-stage manufacturing process to ensure that it meets the highest possible quality; production time is typically 8-12 weeks. To this day no Stockinger safe has ever been broken into, if an attempt to open a Stockinger safe by force is made, an emergency bolt mechanism will firmly and permanently lock the safe.

Stockinger’s safes do not come cheap. The smallest available, The Cube with three winder units, starts at €41,000 whilst the starting price of a Phoenix system (which has the capacity to hold up to 70 amount of watches) is €105,000. However, the level of security and beautiful design that a Stockinger offers is truly priceless.
