Power – The Aston Martin CC100

It has been a year of announcements for the iconic British brand, and who can blame them, we would be shouting about it too if we reached 100 years old.

Aston continued to celebrate their centenary year with the launch of the Aston Martin CC100 concept car at the Nürburgring.

This not so subtle racing machine is a salute to the DBR1, which gave Aston its only every success in the Le Mans 24-hour race in 1959.

Although it’s not yet known whether this car will go into production, Aston Chief executive, Ulrich Bez, has hinted that if there is enough demand for the car from wealthy collectors then there is definitely no reason why a small number couldn’t be produced.

The CC100 is a pure racing machine, in both looks and build. It is a conjunction of carbon fibre, a 6-litre V12 engine and 565bhp, what’s not to like. astonmartin.com
