MeisterSinger No 3 Watch

MeisterSinger was founded in 2002, with the idea being that the brand would draw on tradition, heritage and above all, quality. What differentiates their timepieces from other brands though, is the fact that all of them are single-handed, giving them an interesting dynamic that has been fascinating watch lovers since their inception.

The idea behind the single-handed watches is that they give the illusion of time slowing down. This means that for the wearer, the daily rituals we perform are celebrated, with the idea being that we achieve moments of timeless relaxation. All of this serenity and ambience does mean that the watch loses out on accuracy, but then that is the whole idea behind the brand, and we salute them for fully committing to a technique which is relatively underused.

The MeisterSinger No 03 is one of the more modest watches of their range. It boasts an almost surgically precise look and feel, which is accented by it symmetrical face, as well as its intricate indices and delicate needle hand. Expertly balanced and proportioned, the watch is strikingly clear and easy to read, giving it a unique appearance that works exceptionally well no matter which colour combination it’s in. The MeisterSinger No 03 is available with a white, ivory, grey or blue face and a range of leather straps as well as a steel mesh bracelet. It costs £1,380 on a strap and £1,670 on a steel bracelet.
