Introducing: Vertu Aster

The Aster is the latest creation from luxury phone maker Vertu, and it’s arguably their best effort yet. Constructed from the finest materials known to man, this is a phone reserved for the millionaires of the world, but it’s not just an exercise is pure extravagance, as the tech behind it is as impressive as any mobile on the market.

One thing that is immediately noticeable when using the Aster is the sound. Many smartphones skimp on this aspect, but Vertu – as you would imagine – have gone all out. It features state-of-the-art noise cancellation as well as virtual surround sound, giving it superior quality over any other handset. That’s not all though, as the screen is a 4.7-inch sapphire HD display with a staggering 473 pixels per inch – the highest resolution of any that size.

The materials used are where it really shines though. It’s constructed from Grade 5 titanium alloy, which is usually found in spacecraft due to its strength and light weight. Vertu’s testing processes are legendary also, and this phone has been dropped on concrete, frozen to -45 degrees Celsius, cooked to 80 degrees Celsius and repeatedly hit with ball bearings. It’s tougher than any other phone out there.

The Vertu Aster is powered by Android 4.4 Kitkat, and features a quad core processor for extremely fast browsing, playing and downloading. Its choice of luxury leather cases only adds to the opulent feel, making it one of the most unique and exclusive phones on the market.

The Vertu Aster costs from £4,200. For more information, click here.
