WHAT’S ON – F1 FanZone London 2014
, Formula 1 is coming to London. A Monaco-style city race through the streets of London may be quite a long way off yet, but to coincide with the Silverstone Grand Prix, an action-packed F1 themed festival offers fans the next best thing. The F1 FanZone is the official outdoor broadcaster of the sport, providing fans with the opportunity to indulge in all manner of automotive activities and experiences, and it’s coming to London this weekend.
Of course, you’ll get to watch live coverage of the race weekend on HD big screens, but that is just the icing on what is a very large cake. Those who head to the F1 FanZone will get to enjoy live entertainment on the main stage, F1 driver autograph sessions, karting, F1 simulator experiences and the chance to take part in a pit stop. There will of course be plenty of food and drink available throughout the event and, in true race weekend style, the F1 FanZone Grid Girls will be on hand, ensuring your weekend is every bit as special as you hoped.
The F1 FanZone London event takes place in The International Quarter inside Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park from Friday 4th until Sunday 6 July 2014.
