The 5 most stylish players at the US Open

Wimbledon’s over, so we can’t expect the style to come from court officials and their Ralph Lauren gear any longer; we’re going to have to look to the US Open players themselves. Fortunately for us, tennis is one of the most stylish sports on the planet, so there’s no shortage of fashionable individuals.

1. Roger Federer

Of course he’s on here. The most stylish man in tennis has an excellent chance of winning another record-breaking grand slam, with his arch-rival Nadal having recently pulled out with a wrist injury. The Swiss looks pristine both on and off the court, accompanied by his own fashion brand, and complete with his distinctive RF logo. A gentleman in both looks and personality, Mr Federer is almost certainly the most stylish man in tennis.,

2. Feliciano Lopez

The world number 21 has been lauded for his fashion sense and chiseled features, with Judy Murray once naming him ‘Deliciano’. Describing himself as very ‘traditional in style’, we’re fans of the way in which Mr Lopez dresses, often being seen in shirts and blazers like the gentleman he is.,

3. Grigor Dimitrov

This rising star from Bulgaria is currently at his highest ranked position ever at number 8; he’s not just been picked up in tennis circles either, as Dimitrov has recently been announced as a featured model for American Vogue. He’s young, a fan of Burberry, and looks dapper in a suit – he’s an ace in our books.,

4. Tommy Robredo

Named after The Who’s rock opera, Tommy Robredo is an eminently stylish Spanish gentleman. Formerly very camera shy, Robredo has become comfortable and charismatic in the presence of the media, even winning Men’s Health Spain’s ‘Most Stylish Man’ award in 2007. Although that was certainly a few years ago now, he’s still as stylish as ever.,

5. Rafael Nadal

Even though he may have pulled out through injury, there’s every chance he could be watching as his rivals battle it out for the final grand slam of the year. He’s also one of the most stylish men in tennis, with his off-court attire significantly more impressive than his on-court sleeveless shirts. His humility, tenacity, and all round good nature are superb facets of this modern day gentleman. He can pull off a suit exceptionally well, too.,
